As the Development & Communications Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in individuals' lives, making a significant impact through:

Facilitate gift processing, donor acknowledgments, and accurate data entry into the donor database (e.g., Raiser’s Edge).
Assist with the development, proofreading and editing of written communication for appeals, newsletters, publications, and promotional materials.
Coordinate social media content scheduling, monitor posts, and support basic engagement.
Assist with planning and executing special events and projects for agencies, including maintaining sponsorship and RSVP lists and supporting committee meetings.
Provide administrative support to the Development & Communications team, including meeting coordination, calendars, presentations, and project tracking.
Prepare meeting materials, assemble media kits, take meeting notes, and organizing electronic files.

Development & Communications Assistant Minimum Salary: $ 23.00/hour

Development & Communications Assistant Maximum Salary: 26.00/hour

Development & Communications AssistantSchedule: Monday - Friday 8AM - 4PM (35 hours/week)

Qualifications:

Associates Degree in Marketing or a related field
1-3 years of relevant experience
Valid driver’s license, proof of current car insurance and registration and access to a reliable, working vehicle
