This position has responsibility for handling the support functions for program operations. This includes customer service, phone calling, filing, copying, mailings, timesheets and data entry.

Wage Range $15.00 - $17.39/Hour

Catholic Charities West Michigan (CCWM) is a community-based agency providing programs in Western Michigan and offering a variety of services in family preservation, behavioral health, child welfare, and community outreach.

Coordinates and prepares all forms, correspondence, schedules, spreadsheets, mailings, copying and reports needed by the program.
Assists staff with computer and word processing needs.
Organizes and maintains program records, files, checklists, schedules, demographics, calendars and outcome measures as needed to organize program staff materials.
Receives program phone calls and handles or routes them as needed.
Maintains a system for tracking staff whereabouts.
Assists with the coordination of maintenance and repair of computers, phones, and other equipment within program.
Performs other special assignments at supervisor’s request.
Knowledge of computer system and relevant software.
Knowledge of general office terminology, procedures, and equipment.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
Ability to relate to diverse population and cultures while communicating with clients and the public in a courteous and effective manner.

Education

High School diploma or general education development (GED) preferred.

Experience

A minimum of one year of professional experience in an office setting, including experience with computer systems is required.

A minimum of one year of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and other office software required.

A minimum of one year of experience working with older adults is preferred.

None required.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
