Job Summary
The Part-Time Physical Education (PE) Teacher at Annunziata Learning Center is responsible for providing a dynamic and engaging physical education program that promotes physical fitness, teamwork, and overall well-being. This role supports students in developing healthy habits while fostering a positive and faith-centered learning environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate physical education lessons that promote fitness, coordination, and teamwork
- Engage students in a variety of activities, including sports, games, and structured movement exercises
- Promote good sportsmanship, cooperation, and respectful behavior among students
- Ensure student safety during all physical activities, both indoors and outdoors
- Adapt activities to meet the needs and abilities of all students
- Maintain an organized and safe physical education space and equipment
- Assess student participation and progress as appropriate
- Collaborate with school staff to support student development
- Follow school policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Model positive behavior and reinforce Christian values
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Education, or related field (preferred)
- Teaching certification (preferred or required per school policy)
- Experience teaching physical education or working with children
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Ability to motivate and engage students in physical activity
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to supporting a faith-based educational environment
