Job Summary
The Part-Time Classroom Aide at Annunziata Learning Center supports the lead teacher in creating a positive, structured, and engaging learning environment. This role assists with daily classroom activities, student supervision, and instructional support while fostering the academic, social, and spiritual development of students in a faith-centered setting.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the teacher with classroom instruction and daily lesson activities
- Support individual and small group learning under teacher guidance
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment
- Supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, and designated times
- Provide additional support to students who need extra assistance
- Help prepare instructional materials and classroom resources
- Reinforce classroom expectations and promote positive behavior
- Assist with arrival, dismissal, and other routine procedures
- Communicate effectively with the lead teacher regarding student needs or concerns
- Follow school policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Model respectful behavior and Christian values in all interactions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Experience working with children preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff
- Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, organized, and attentive to detail
- Commitment to supporting a faith-based school environment
