St. Joseph Catholic School (SJS) is seeking a collaborative, energetic Middle School LIterature and Language Arts teacher for the 2026-27 schol year. SJS is a 3K-8th grade school of approximately 135 students, is WCSA Accredited and has a very talented and dedicated staff. Qualified candidate will build a community of faith and learning through Literature and Language Arts standards including assessments and higher ord thinking skills. Knolwdge and experience with Response to Intervention (RtI), Postive Behavior and Supports (PBIS), 6 + 1 Traits of Writing are highly desirable, but not required. Technology based instruction and supports are also valued as the entire Middle School team has access to a classroom SmartTV and Digital Technology. Yearbook supervision and completion is a responsibility of this position. Candidates must demonstrate excellent organizational, written and verbal communications skills; have the ability to coordinate projects and be a positive, flexible team player.
