The Campaign for Catholic Schools (CCS) seeks a new team member as a valuable addition to the work underway to sustain urban Catholic Schools in Greater Boston. Founded in 2007, CCS is a change-agent for rebuilding urban Catholic education in the Archdiocese of Boston through new models that introduce lay governance, strong academics, student support services, technology, school consolidation, facility renovations, school improvement, and innovative teacher support.
Since inception, CCS has raised $145 million and attracted an ecumenical group of high-level donors, many from the private equity, hedge fund, and finance community who value this effective education model. With a well-researched plan for change, CCS has created new regional schools, with the model resulting in the transformation of 20 former struggling elementary schools into what are today six vibrant regional academies on 10 campuses in Greater Boston. CCS currently focuses its efforts on educating 1,500 students (Preschool–Gr. 8) in two large regional academies it founded in Brockton and Dorchester. CCS also consults on fundraising and school improvement across Greater Boston and beyond.
