Description
Responsibilities include the following:
- To fully understand and assist in the implementation of the philosophies of the athletic program and the school.
- To develop players in specific areas of responsibility within the guidelines set forth by the head coach.
- To teach fundamentals and techniques that are approved by the state association regarding player safety.
- To assist in equipment check out/check in procedures.
- To assist in the preparation of field facilities for practices and contests.
- To assist in the supervision of the locker areas.
- To assist in providing a positive public relations outlook.
- To cooperate and abide by all state and conference regulations.
Requirements
Certificates and Licenses:
- Sports First Aid Training
- CPR Training
- Trained in Protecting God's Children, or willing to be trained
- Practicing Catholic in good standing is preferred, but not required.
