The Development Director will be provided an office near his/her home, but is responsible for donor development statewide, both in the Archdiocese of Atlanta and the Diocese of Savannah. The
Development Director leads fundraising and community engagement for Mary's Haven Georgia, a Catholic residential home and program serving homeless pregnant women and their children. The ideal candidate is a practicing Catholic with strong, active relationships across the Archdiocese of Atlanta, especially within parishes, ministries, and Catholic philanthropic circles.
Key Responsibilities
Parish Engagement - Build partnerships with pastors, key leaders and Catholic organizations throughout the Archdiocese.
Fundraising & Stewardship - Lead major gifts, parish campaigns, donor cultivation, and private foundation outreach.
Mission Appeals - Coordinate parish speaking opportunities, bulletin outreach, and Respect Life collaborations.
Communications - Oversee mission aligned messaging, donor updates, and storytelling
Events - Lead fundraising events and donor gatherings.
Qualifications
Practicing Catholic committed to the Church's teachings and the dignity of life.
Established relationships within the Archdiocese of Atlanta
3-5+ years in development, parish stewardship, or Catholic ministry leadership.
Strong public speaking skills, especially in parish settings.
Proven success in fundraising and donor engagement.
