About The Role
Carinity Education – Gladstone is seeking a passionate and proactive Attendance and Inclusion Support Worker (AISW) to join our dedicated team.
In this rewarding role, you will play a key part in promoting student engagement, attendance, and inclusion by supporting young people with diverse learning and wellbeing needs. Working closely with the Youth Worker team, you will help ensure students are supported to overcome barriers to learning and achieve positive educational outcomes.
As The AISW, You Will
- Coordinate and support student attendance, enrolment, and engagement processes.
- Monitor and maintain Individual Learning Plans to ensure students receive targeted support.
- Work collaboratively with the Deputy Principal and Curriculum Coordinator to meet NCCD requirements.
- Build strong relationships with students, families, schools, and external stakeholders to enhance student outcomes.
- Model best-practice inclusion and support strategies that foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive learning environment.

What do I need for the role?
- Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Counselling, Psychology, or Social Work
- Demonstrated experience in the development, implementation and monitoring of student attendance, census and diagnostic testing
- Experience in leading and supervising a team of Youth Workers working within a challenging environment and applying effective time management skills
- Possession of a valid Driver’s Licence and/or Bus Licence
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- TCI training is advantageous for this role
