Blessed Sacrament Catholic School is a pre-K through 8th grade Catholic elementary school in Madison, Wisconsin with 290 students and 27 staff members. We are seeking a talented, creative, and hard-working individual interested in becoming part of a team that is passionate about working together to develop students spiritually and academically, as we strive for excellence together.
The ideal candidate will have following qualifications:
A valid teaching credential along with a minimum of two years teaching experience is highly preferable
Knowledge of current curriculum and standards
Enthusiasm for music education
Commitment to continued development of his/her personal relationship with Jesus Christ
Desire to help students nurture and grow their relationship with Jesus Christ through the beauty of music and singing
Ability to communicate effectively with students and parents
Values the learning process and teaching essential music skills.
Specific Subject Area Responsibilities
Children's Choir rehearsals and lead choir for school Masses
Coordinate and lead School Christmas Program or other musical programs that showcase student learning
**Applicants of the Catholic faith may be given preference.
FTE: Full-time (school year)
Salary Range: $37,000 to $45,000 with benefits including medical, vision, dental, and 401(k) plan.
