Job Summary: Join our team as a Camp Counselor and make a positive impact on children’s lives in a fun and engaging summer camp environment. As a Camp Counselor, you will be responsible for supervising and leading activities for campers of all grade levels, ensuring their safety and well-being, and creating memorable experiences for all participants.
Duties:
-Provide guidance and supervision to campers throughout daily activities
-Plan and implement age-appropriate physical education activities
-Ensure the physical and emotional safety of campers at all times
-Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that promotes teamwork and personal growth
-Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and fellow staff members
-Demonstrate first aid skills when needed and adhere to safety protocols
Skills:
-Experience working with children in settings such as daycare, childcare, or special education.
-Proficiency in classroom management techniques to maintain order and facilitate learning.
-No teaching certificate required.
-CPR and AED certified preferred but not required.
