National Partnerships Director (Sales)
Job Description
Status: Full-time with benefits
Compensation: $100,000–$125,000 base salary, with on-target earnings (OTE) of $142,000-$167,000
Job Summary
The Partnership Director is the strategic leader of Friendzy's sales organization, responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding our reach into non-public schools and dioceses, and developing a high-performing sales team. This role blends data-driven strategy with hands-on coaching and front-line leadership: pulling and analyzing Salesforce data to identify trends in new sales and retention, building monthly regional plans with clear sales targets and lead/lag measures, coaching individual sales team members, and personally opening doors at the diocese, district, and network level to secure full-system partnerships.
This is a player-coach role. The Partnership Director leads the team through forecasting, accountability, and individualized coaching, while also traveling to present professional development, deliver public-facing PD and demos, write marketing emails, and personally drive the "big rock" work — the diocesan and network-level conversations that unlock significant growth. The ideal candidate is a leader, a coach, a driver, a confident public speaker, and someone with deep familiarity with and passion for the non-public and Catholic school landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy, Data & Forecasting
- Analyze and interpret Salesforce data to track new sales sources, monitor retention trends, and identify the highest-impact opportunities for growth.
- Use forecasting to project realistic sales targets at the team, regional, and individual levels.
- Build monthly strategic plans for each region, including sales targets, lead measures (calls, emails, demos), and lag measures (closed business, retention).
- Develop and refresh the overall monthly sales strategy in alignment with company priorities and growth goals.
Team Leadership & Coaching
- Lead, manage, and develop a sales team of three, providing individualized coaching tailored to each team member's strengths, goals, and growth areas.
- Hold the team accountable to clear weekly and monthly metrics, and build a culture of ownership, follow-through, and continuous improvement.
- Help each sales team member build a strategic plan, including pulling targeted call lists, prioritizing accounts, and sequencing outreach.
- Coach the team on prospecting, discovery, demos, objection handling, and closing while modeling best practices through live calls and meetings as needed.
Growth Strategy & "Big Rock" Partnerships
- Develop and execute growth strategies to expand Friendzy's reach into new markets, dioceses, and school networks.
- Personally open doors at the diocese and network level, driving conversations that result in full-diocese or full-network adoption of Friendzy.
- Build and steward relationships with superintendents, diocesan leaders, and key decision-makers in the Catholic education community.
- Identify and pursue strategic partnerships and channel opportunities that accelerate growth.
Public Speaking, PD & Marketing Support
- Travel to schools, dioceses, and conferences to present Friendzy's professional development and represent the brand publicly.
- Deliver compelling presentations to educators, administrators, and diocesan leaders, translating Friendzy's research-backed framework into inspiration and action.
- Write marketing emails and outreach copy that supports both team-level prospecting and broader campaigns.
- Partner with marketing on messaging, campaigns, and lead-generation efforts that drive positive pipeline movement.
Qualifications
Required
- Proven track record of leading and developing a team that consistently hits or exceeds targets.
- Strong proficiency in using data to drive strategy including confidence building reports, analyzing data, building dashboards, and using data to drive decisions.
- Experience building monthly strategic sales plans with clearly defined lead and lag measures.
- Demonstrated ability to coach individually and hold them accountable to metrics with both warmth and rigor.
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills; comfortable in front of small groups, large audiences, and leaders.
- Familiarity with the non-public and Catholic school landscape, especially the rhythms and decision-making structures within them.
- Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to write marketing emails and outreach copy that converts.
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed to support the team, conferences, present PD, and develop big-rock partnerships (average of two trips a month)
Preferred
- Prior experience selling into K-12 schools, Catholic schools, dioceses, or faith-based organizations.
- Background in education, EdTech, SEL, or curriculum/PD sales.
- Experience presenting professional development to educators.
- Prior leadership experience.
