North to the Future! St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Anchorage, Alaska, is seeking a dynamic, Christ-centered leader to serve as Principal of our wonderful parochial elementary school. The successful candidate will be one who understands the principles of Catholic Education, has an unwavering commitment to student achievement, staff advancement, school advancement, and who exercises these qualities within the traditions and teachings of the Catholic Church.
Required qualifications:
●Practicing Catholic in good standing.
●Master’s degree or higher in a related field
●Three years elementary education administration experience, preferably in a Catholic school environment
●Teaching or classroom experience at the elementary grade level
●School administrative certification or equivalent demonstrated leadership experience
Desired qualifications:
●Strong communication and decision-making skills
●Ability to manage competing priorities and responsibilities.
●Possesses a strong understanding of child development.
●Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a variety of key stakeholders, including the Pastor, faculty, school, and parish staff, school families, and school advisory board to ensure the mission of the parish and school are fulfilled.
