Job Summary
Holy Infant Catholic School is seeking caring, faith-filled, and enthusiastic caregivers for Clover Care, the school’s after-school care program. The Extended Care Caregiver provides supervision and support for students in Junior Kindergarten through Grade 8 in a safe, nurturing, and faith-centered environment that reflects the mission and values of Catholic education.
This position is an excellent opportunity for college students, retirees, or individuals who enjoy working with children in a positive and supportive school setting.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise students in Junior Kindergarten through Grade 8 during after-school care hours
- Assist students with homework and academic support as needed
- Interact positively with children through gym activities, games, arts and crafts, and recreational opportunities
- Foster a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment for all students
- Encourage appropriate student behavior and positive social interaction
- Communicate professionally with parents, staff, and administration as needed
- Support and model Christian values, kindness, patience, and respect in all interactions
- Participate respectfully in prayer and faith-based activities as appropriate
- Maintain compliance with Prevent and Protect STL requirements
- Follow all diocesan, school, health, safety, and child protection policies and procedures
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience working with children preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to supervise and engage groups of children effectively
- Dependable, positive, and team-oriented attitude
- Commitment to supporting the mission and philosophy of Catholic education
- Completion of required background checks and safe environment training
