St. Philip Neri School on the eastside of Indianapolis is hiring an Instructional Coach for the 2026-2027 school year.
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND/OR ABILITIES:
- Strong instructional knowledge and understanding of best teaching practices
- Knowledge of literacy instruction, assessment practices, and intervention strategies
- Ability to analyze and interpret student performance data
- Strong coaching, mentoring, and communication skills
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with teachers and administrators.
Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously
- Commitment to continuous professional growth and school improvement
- Willingness to foster the Church's mission
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's Degree in Education required; Master's Degree preferred
- Valid Indiana teaching license required
- Minimum of three years successful classroom teaching experience preferred
- Must be certified in the Science of Reading
- Experience in instructional coaching, literacy leadership, or teacher mentoring preferre
- Must be able to understand and to comply with the Archdiocese of Indianapolis Code of Conduct
- Must be able to successfully complete the Archdiocese of Indianapolis Child Safety Training
- Background screening required
- Ability to reliably travel to off-site locations on a regular basis, including travel of up to two hours from the office, using personal or alternative transportation
