Holy Apostles Catholic School is seeking part-time Extended Care Assistant in our Before-School program. Looking for a passionate and energetic individual that is excited to work with students from 3K-8th grade. The program is a quiet time for students to enjoy their breakfast, color or read a book prior to the start time of school.
Position hours would be 6:45am – 8:15am, days school is in session
5 days per week: Mondays -Fridays
The Extended Care Assistant will assist with the supervision of children to insure a safe, caring and welcoming environment to young children and their parents.
- Ensures students are orderly and acting appropriately.
- Contribute to the children’s sense of self-worth as a Christian person.
- Maintain open lines of communication with children and their parents.
- Responds to emergency situations for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns.
- Having completed or willing to complete the Safeguarding All God’s Children certification.
