Sacred Heart Parish is a community called to see, know, and love all people, inviting and accompanying them to discover new life in Jesus Christ and his Church. In pursuit of that mission, we are seeking a passionate and people-centered Relational Ministry Coordinator, full-time, to build, equip, and mobilize teams across our relational ministries such as newcomers, youth ministry, young adult, OCIA and more.
This role is fundamentally about multiplying ministry through others. The Coordinator's primary work is to recruit, form, and empower volunteer leaders, galvanizing parishioners to step into mission and giving them the support, formation, and structure they need to thrive. The ideal candidate is a natural galvanizer and enabler, someone who rallies people to action, raises up new leaders, and coordinates teams, rather than carrying every ministry on their own shoulders.
The ideal candidate is a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church, a gifted relationship-builder, and an enthusiastic evangelist who thrives in a collaborative parish environment and is energized by developing others. Candidates must hold a high school diploma or equivalent and have experience in relational ministry or a related field. Strong skills in leadership, communication, delegation, and organization are essential, as is the ability to work occasional evenings and be part of ministry on weekends.
This is a full-time, benefited position, including health and dental insurance, life and disability insurance, 403(b), FSA, and HSA, with a salary dependent on experience starting at $40,000.
