Position Overview
The Director of Enrollment and Advancement serves as a key member of the school leadership team and is responsible for leading student recruitment, retention, marketing, communications, fundraising, and community engagement efforts. This individual works to promote the mission of the school, strengthen enrollment, build relationships with current and prospective families, and advance the long-term growth and sustainability of the school. The ideal candidate is faith-filled, organized, relational, and passionate about Catholic education. The candidate must be bilingual - English and Spanish.
Primary Responsibilities
Enrollment Management:
- Develop and implement a strategic enrollment plan to attract and retain students.
- Coordinate all admissions and enrollment activities from inquiry through registration.
- Serve as the primary contact for prospective families.
- Schedule and conduct school tours and open house events.
- Maintain accurate enrollment data and admissions records.
- Work collaboratively with administration and faculty to support student retention initiatives.
- Analyze enrollment trends and provide recommendations for growth.
- Manage waitlists and assist with class placement recommendations.
Advancement And Development
- Develop and oversee annual advancement goals and fundraising initiatives.
- Coordinate donor relations, stewardship, and recognition efforts.
- Plan and support fundraising events and campaigns.
- Assist with grant research and writing opportunities.
- Cultivate relationships with alumni, parishioners, local businesses, and community partners.
- Maintain donor databases and advancement records.
- Work collaboratively with the Home and School Association and other volunteer groups.
Marketing And Communications
- Manage school marketing efforts including print, digital, and social media communications.
- Coordinate promotional materials, newsletters, and school publications.
- Maintain and update the school website and social media platforms.
- Promote the positive image and mission of the school within the parish and broader community.
- Create messaging and campaigns to support enrollment and fundraising goals.
Community And Mission Support
- Support and uphold the philosophy and mission of Catholic education.
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all families.
- Participate in school events, parish activities, and community outreach opportunities.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
Qualifications
- Experience in admissions, marketing, communications, development, fundraising, or education preferred.
- Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, families, clergy, and community members.
- Proficiency with technology, social media, and database management systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Bilingual is a plus.
Perferred Skills
- Experience with Catholic school enrollment management.
- Knowledge of fundraising and donor stewardship practices.
- Familiarity with FACTS or other student information systems.
- Graphic design, marketing, or social media experience.
- Public speaking and event planning abilities.
Work Schedule
This is a full-time, twelve-month position. Evening and weekend hours may occasionally be required for school events, open houses, and advancement activities.
