POSITION TITLE: Director of Mission Advancement
LOCATION: Saint Dominic Academy
STATUS: Exempt
REPORTS TO: Headmaster

FULL OR PART TIME: Full Time Year-Round
POSITION SUMMARY: The Director of Mission Advancement serves as a strategic leader responsible for advancing the mission, visibility, enrollment growth, and financial support of the school. Working closely with the headmaster, faculty, alumni, parents, and community, the Director develops and implements comprehensive plans in enrollment management, marketing and communications, advancement, development, and fundraising. The Director also serves as an assistant to the headmaster assisting with day-to-day operations of the school when necessary. The ideal candidate is a mission-driven leader with a passion for Catholic education and faith-centered community engagement.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Developing and executing enrollment and retention strategies
- Leading marketing, branding, communications, and digital outreach efforts
- Managing advancement and donor relations
- Planning and implementing fundraising, annual appeal, and special events
- Building partnerships with alumni, parishioners, families, and community organizations
- Collaborating with school and diocesan leadership to advance strategic goals and financial sustainability
- Assisting the headmaster with day-to-day operations as necessary
- Other duties as assigned or requested.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in education or related field required.
- 5 years of experience in Catholic education preferred
- Ability to successfully pass a background check.
- Possess a thorough understanding of the teachings of the Catholic Church, particularly as they relate to education.
- Be an active practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church.
- Possess strong administrative and organizational skills
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders to advance the mission of the school
Physical Requirements
Ability to provide walking tours of the facility for prospective students.
Ability to keystroke 2-4 hours per day with reasonable breaks.
Ability to sit 2-4 hours per day with reasonable breaks.
Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel occasionally.
