Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Teacher role located in Dayton, OH. The Teacher will plan and deliver engaging, standards-based lessons that integrate Catholic values and support the spiritual, academic, and social growth of students. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes, assessing student progress, maintaining classroom discipline, and providing individualized support where needed. The Teacher will collaborate with colleagues and administrators, communicate regularly with families, participate in professional development, and contribute to school liturgies, activities, and community events in alignment with the mission of the Archdiocese.
Qualifications
- Ability to design and implement effective lesson planning and instructional strategies.
- Strong foundation in education principles and classroom management practices.
- Demonstrated communication skills for interacting with students, families, and colleagues.
- Proficiency in teaching and training learners of varying abilities and backgrounds.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; valid teaching license or eligibility for licensure in Ohio.
- Commitment to supporting and respecting the Catholic identity and mission of the school.
- Experience with differentiated instruction, assessment, and use of educational technology is beneficial.
- Ability to maintain a safe, inclusive, and culturally responsive learning environment.
