The Special Events Sacristan prepares and oversees the articles and elements required for special Archdiocesan liturgies so that all the members of the worshipping community can take their full, conscious and active part in the liturgical celebration.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares the altar and sanctuary, laying out linens, sacramental wine, vestments, special seating, and worship aides.
- Maintains liturgical linens and vestments including storing and ironing if needed.
- Prepares liturgical materials such as lectionary, missal, or other ritual books as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
