The Catechetical Ministry Coordinator organizes our parish religious education programs. This is a part-time, flexible, salaried position.
Key Responsibilities
- Whole Community Formation: With staff and other parish team leaders, facilitate a comprehensive program for all ages that includes faith formation, service opportunities, and community meals
- Sacramental Preparation: Direct programs for Reconciliation, First Eucharist, and Confirmation
- Youth Programs:Coordinate various youth opportunities, includingCatechesis of the Good Shepherd, Children’s Liturgy of the Word, Advent program, Stations of the Cross, and summer service trips
- Volunteer supervision: Mentor and oversee the training of all faith formation catechists and volunteers.
- Curriculum and media management: Oversee the collection and use of educational materials and Parish Library
- Community Events: Collaborate with staff and volunteers on community-building events
