Brief Job Description: We are posting this job as a fulltime position, but based on the candidate, it could also be a somewhat flexible part time position. SPS is looking for a part-time STREAM/Technology teacher for Grades PreK-Grade 5. This is the part time position if that is what is agreed to.
We also need a part time Religion teacher and these two positions could be coupled together to make a full time position, in addition to some building based substitute teaching.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
● Teach STREAM and Technology lessons once or twice per week to all grades PreK3-Grade 5.
● Work with hands-on materials and activities in our interactive STREAM lab.
● Maintain behavioral control and safe environments in all classrooms at all times
● Work as a part of the school teaching and learning team.
Qualifications: Required Education/Experience:
● Teaching certification is desired, and experience in the identified areas is a plus

● Appreciation and understanding of young children
● Strong communication skills
● Team player
● Willingness to work hard and help out where needed
Salary: Part time hourly is $22.00 per hour. Full time Salary will begin at $28,000 depending on experience and credentials.
