Mount St. Michael Catholic School (MSMCS), a private Catholic Classical school in the Diocese of Dallas, is seeking a passionate and mission-driven Development Director to join our community.
About MSMCS
MSMCS serves students from 3K–8th grade, offering a Montessori program for early childhood and a Classical curriculum for grades 1–8. Located in southwest Dallas, our mission is to form children in courageous virtue grounded in the truth of Christ—teaching them to reason clearly, choose morally, and serve faithfully.
Position Overview
The Development Director advances the mission of MSMCS by leading efforts in fundraising, marketing, event planning, grant writing, communications, alumni relations, and public relations. This role includes planning and executing the school’s development strategy in alignment with its Strategic Plan and budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, guide, and evaluate all development initiatives
- Collaborate with the principal, Board, Development Committee, and volunteers
- Oversee development operations, including donor records, gift processing, and stewardship
- Ensure compliance with school, diocesan, and regulatory standards
- Communicate effectively with faculty, staff, and stakeholders
- Demonstrate professionalism in all aspects of the role
Qualifications
- Commitment to upholding the Catholic identity and mission of MSMCS and the Christian Community of God’s Delight
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience in development or a related field preferred
