Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging language arts lessons aligned with curriculum standards and Catholic values.
- Teach reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and literature to middle school students.
- Incorporate Catholic teachings and principles into daily lessons and classroom activities.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support.
- Create a classroom environment that encourages respect, responsibility, and a love of learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administration to support student success.
- Participate in school events, professional development, and faith formation activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Language Arts, or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification for middle school language arts.
- Experience teaching middle school language arts, preferably in a Catholic school setting.
- Strong understanding of language arts curriculum and instructional strategies.
- Ability to integrate Catholic values into teaching and classroom management.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
