Holy Family Academy is seeking a faith-filled, energetic, and nurturing Kindergarten Classroom Aide to join our faculty for the 2026-2027 school year.
This position is ideal for someone who loves working with young children and desires to help form students academically, spiritually, and morally within an authentically Catholic environment.
Responsibilities
The Kindergarten Aide will work alongside the classroom teacher to:
Assist with daily classroom instruction and activities
Provide one-on-one and small-group academic support
Help prepare classroom materials and learning centers
Supervise students during classroom activities, recess, lunch, and transitions
Encourage positive behavior and model Christian virtue
Assist with classroom organization and cleanliness
Support students in developing independence, responsibility, and a love of learning
Foster a joyful, caring, and Christ-centered classroom environment
Perform other duties as assigned by the classroom teacher or administration
Qualifications
Qualified applicants should:
Be a practicing Catholic who faithfully supports the teachings of the Catholic Church
Love working with young children
Demonstrate patience, kindness, and a joyful spirit
Be dependable, organized, and flexible
Work well as part of a collaborative team
Possess strong communication skills
Successfully complete all required background checks and Safe Environment requirements
Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is preferred but not required.
