The Associate Director of Formation and Mission provides leadership, vision, and coordination for the Office of Adolescent Catechesis and Evangelization's portfolio of adult formation and ministry development initiatives. It oversees the development and delivery of formation programs that support youth ministers, catechists, Confirmation coordinators, volunteers, and parish leaders in effective ministry with adolescents.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
• Master's degree in Theology, Catechetics, Pastoral Ministry, or a related field.
• Minimum of three years of experience in Catholic youth ministry or a related role.
• Demonstrated experience planning and leading training and formation programs.
• Full understanding of Catholic theology, evangelization, adolescent faith formation, and youth ministry.
• Practicing Catholic in good standing who supports the teachings and mission of the Catholic Church.
• Fluency in English, both oral and written; Spanish fluency a plus.
