Position Summary
The Elementary School Teacher fosters a safe, engaging, and faith-filled learning environment that supports the academic, social, emotional, and spiritual growth of each student while upholding the mission and values of the school.
Essential Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based instruction that meets the diverse needs of learners.
- Create a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, responsibility, and a love of learning.
- Assess student progress and maintain accurate academic records.
- Differentiate instruction and implement appropriate interventions to support student success.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and classroom expectations.
- Collaborate with administrators, colleagues, and support staff to enhance student learning.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, school events, and assigned supervisory duties.
- Integrate Catholic values into daily instruction and serve as a positive Christian role model.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification or eligibility for certification.
- Strong instructional, classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
