Saint Maria Goretti is accepting applications for a dynamic educator to teach elementary students in Madison, WI.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Commitment to Catholic Identity and forming students in their love of Jesus Christ.
- Commitment to continued development of his/her personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Commitment to training the whole child (bodies, minds, and spirits)
- Ability to embed differentiation in daily instruction to meet the needs of a wide range of students.
- Commitment to collaboration and reflection within a school community dedicated to continuous improvement.
- Ability to adjust instruction based on formative assessment data.
- Ability to communicate effectively to form partnerships with families.
- Ability to reflect on practice.
- Valid Wisconsin teaching certificate in the subject area of employment – preferred.
A background in Physical Education and Health instruction is preferred; teacher creativity is valued. The successful candidate will be team-oriented, flexible, and possess a growth mindset in pursuit of Truth, Beauty, and Goodness. Applicants practicing the Catholic Faith will be given preference.
